Origin: It is the result of genetic selection and does not occur in nature.
Pattern:
- Intense golden/yellow base color
- Reduced or absent "peppering" pattern (typical black specks of Pigeon Blood)
- Eyes usually red or orange
- Cleaner and more uniform body compared to other Pigeons
Adult size: Approximately 14–16 cm.
Ideal parameters:
pH: 6.0 - 6.8
Temperature: 28 - 30ºC
Very clean water (frequent water changes)
Lighting not excessive (helps reduce stress and peppering)
Light substrate usually enhances the golden color better
